every spring, washington state has a tulip festival. it is fields and fields of tulips and it is probably one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen. i went a few years ago with my family to see all the tulips. it was pouring rain, it was so muddy but it was so worth the trip. i saw these pictures and thought it was the perfect picture to post for the first day of spring.

Hey I've been to that too! It's close to where I grew up, and we had a couple track meets in that town when I was in high school. :) I love the tulips... made me just want to run through them, but then they'd all be trampled, so I never did. :)
