cancun trip, finally!

the beginning of the year, i got to go on a fabulous trip to Cancun provided by the wonderful people I work for. We had an amazing time! Here is a little recap...be prepared for lots and lots of pics!

When we got to the hotel, we were greeted by many men just like him with trays and trays on pina colads and strawberry daquirris...all virgin of course. The folks down there sure know how to treat ya

and we took full advantage of it!

Cheryl and Steph are the two girls I bunked up with. The first night we got there, we took a walk on the beach and then went to have an amazing dinner with an amazing dessert that tasted like heaven.

Our waiter "cinco" whipped up a tray full of these babies for us. It was amazing.

Because I was only there for 3 days, 2 of those days being primarily travel days, I wanted to spend as much time as the day would allow on the beach! We layed out most of the day trying to gain a tan , listen to our i pods, read some magazines and chat about life

I wish i could go back! thanks for a fab trip!

boondocks

my great boss took all her managers to boondocks to celebrate some birthdays a few months ago and i am now getting around to posting about it. we did so many fun things and it was such a great time to spend time with eachother away from the office.

there were bumper boats...

awkward moments...

balloon animals...

lazer tag...

pizza and root beer floats...

(when we called to make reservations for a birthday party, they thought we were children so they had the table all set up for 9 small children. it was really funny.)

am i ready for texas you ask...?

this week, i get to go with my absolutely amazing work and be apart of something so great. APX is taking just under 100 people to go and help with the aftermath of hurricane ike. it is going to be one tough week full of hard work and many lessons of gratitude and appreciation. below are some pictures i found on this site my aunt katina sent me. i know that it is going to be hard work and i know we have our work cut out for us but seeing these photos gives me all the motivation in the world to get down and rebuild these peoples lives.





so, am i ready to go? i don't know how ready you can be for this but boy am i so excited. lindsay, one thing to remember...we need to bring gloves, thick gloves. I will post soon.
