christmas is here!

Before i left for thanksgiving, i started to put up my christmas decorations. i got tired and left for the weekend with a messy house and an unfinished decorating job. tonight i finished and i am so happy! be prepared for lots and lots and lots of blurry, dark and crooked pictures.

the merry christmas sign above my front window. the letters are covered with antique santa paper and have gold sparkles on the backs. so cute.the berry wreath on the front door waiting for some ribbon to join it.

probably my favorite and not sure why...the sign and garland over my sink window.

i finally filled my giant wall above my table with some frames, mirrors and christmas pictures.

and last but not least but the living room all put together. its much cuter at night with the lights hence the very dark picture!

country home

i LOVE magazines. i especially love magazines, their covers and articles, during the holidays. this is my favorite magazine and below is why. this christmas tree, the blue walls and the presents that are wrapped so cute say it all.

inside this holiday issue, "romancing christmas" which is my favorite! i just wish i had a fireplace.

love the stockings and garland hanging from the stair case.

and this recipe tops it off and looks sooo good.

PS: i just realized this is my 100th post. yeah for me.

chalkboard kitchen

i found this picture here a few weeks ago and i can't stop looking back to it. not only do i love the ginormous chalkboard in the middle of the kitchen but i love the floors, kitchen table and the living room in the background. so cute.

i did it, i decorated for halloween. did anybody join me? i would love to see what you've done! here is a little peak...welcome halloween!

it worked...i think

jamie, andrea and i all bought these cute white vases with black polka dots on them for halloween. we couldn't find anything to put inside it to make it halloweenish so i decided to make something. i bought these green leaves at roberts craft for only 7 dollars and then spray painted them black. it was quick and easy and worked out just perfect!

what is in this orange bin you may ask?

why it is my halloween decorations!!! this saturday, i am going to bust open the dusty orange bin and bring back to life all the wonderful things that halloween brings to my home. i almost started decorating a couple weeks ago but didn't want to look too pathetic. since then, my heart has been aching to finish the project i once started. I can hardly wait. i plan to burn my favorite pumpkin spice candle, listen to some good old country music and possible cry as i soak in all the happiness that this moment may bring. please join me in decorating your house if you'd like. andrea, i know you want to.
